Ellen Dora Sykes

With determination to provide genuine comfort during this difficult moment in a family’s life, The Horton’s Funeral Home Family has been charged with the solemn duty to advise all that Mrs. Ellen Dora Sykes has transitioned from this life into life eternal as of Friday, January 30, 2026. 

The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Mrs. Sykes and her adored family can take part. A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 2pm in Cedarwood Cemetery. 

John the Revelator has sent good news to Mrs. Sykes loving family when he sat one day and put pen to parchment writing, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and they shall be no more death neither sorrow because the former things have passed away.” 

Let the church say......... Amen.
