With many mixed emotions and understandably broken hearts, the Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with family of Mr. Rodney Dee Mcclees as they prepare to say “Until We Reunite." Mr. Mcclees transitioned from this Life on April 15,2024 while resting at his residence in Edenton, NC.
The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering services for Rodney have been finalized and will commence on Sunday, April 21,2024 at 2pm at Horton’s Funeral Home and Cremations.
As hard as it will be for Rodney’s loved ones to depart without him, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow. The hymnologist said it best... when he put pen to parchment writing....We’ll understand it better all by and by.”
Rodney is survived by his wife Amy, daughter Kesha, his bonus children Destinee and Elijah. his grandchildren DaMerion, Rose and Coovan parents Audrey and Douglas (Mitch), his sister Kendra (Rayna), his nephew Sean Ellis, his cousin Brande and a host of family and friends. his loving family and friends who will forever remember the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.
His legacy of kindness and boundless energy will continue to inspire those who knew him, as they hold onto the cherished memories of the times they shared.
Guests are being received at 221 Winborne Lane Edenton, NC where they will also assemble in preparation for the Prestigious Horton Ebony Motorcade.
